Francesco Cinzano & Co

Francesco Cinzano & Compagnia was established in 1868 by Enrico Cinzano in order to produce and market the family's brands of vermouth and sparkling wines. The Cinzano brand has a long history tracing back to 1757 and is still in production today under the ownership of the Campari Group.

The company was acquired by Campari in 1999 and has since been merged into the Davide Campari-Milano N.V. subsidiary. In its time, Francesco Cinzano & Co imported whisky to Italy from all over the world, notably acting as agents for Laphroaig, Tamdhu, the Famous Grouse and Gilbey's blends, and Old Taylor bourbon.
