Hua Yang International Exhibition Co is a Taiwanese company headquartered in Taipei. It was founded in 2010 by whisky connoisseur Eric Huang and operates a number of services including restaurants and bars, as well as a spirits import and distribution arm.
The company is the parent of the retailers and independent bottler, Spirits Shop' Selection (founded in 2014), but is most notable for its array of high-profile bottlings of Karuizawa single malt. Founder Eric Huang acquired one of the largest shares of casks from the defunct Japanese distillery when they were sold by the Mercian Corporation, as well as purchasing more from Number One Drinks in 2011. Its selection includes various single casks as well as a number of 1999 & 2000 vintage vattings which is releases through its 36 Views of Mount Fuji series.
