Maltbarn is an independent bottling brand founded in Germany by Martin Diekmann. The company prides itself on its careful selections and its first bottlings were released in 2011.

With a regular outturn of bottlings that includes cognac as well as whisky, the company's portfolio has included some impressive releases that include lost distilleries such as Caperdonich and Littlemill, and it has a number of distribution partners in other territories around the world.
