The New Zealand Whisky Company

The New Zealand Whisky Company was established in 2010 by Greg Ramsay who had just finished managing the development of the Nant distillery in Australia when he discovered the last casks from Willowbank distillery in Dunedin were for sale. Ramsay acquired the 443 barrels through the company and moved them from their location in an old airplane hangar to the seaside bonded warehouses at Oamaru.

The company bottles the casks, which included single malt, single grain distilled from unmalted barley and aged blends of both as its New Zealand Whisky Collection and Masters Range brands.
