R. Carmichael & Sons

R. Carmichael & Sons is a Scottish blending and bottling company that is a subsidiary of Inver House Distillers and ultimately part of the ThaiBev group. The business dates back to 1832 when it was established as a greengrocers on the High Street of Coldstream in the Scottish Borders. In fact, the shop still exists and is still registered under the same name as part of the KeyStore chain.

Over the years Inver House has named R. Carmichael & Sons at the bottler on blended Scotch brands such as Blairmhor, Glen Nicol and Glen Talloch. It also still produces the company's original Coldstream gin label.
