Robert Watson

Robert Watson (Aberdeen) Ltd was a Scottish import and export business that primarily dealt in rum due to its port town location. The company did however have some important dealings in Scotch whisky. Its blended Scotch brands included Balgownie and Imperial, and it also marketed a number of independently bottled single malts.

Established in 1947, the company was still operating in the 1980s but has since ceased trading. Its name lives on through several of its rum brands however, which were acquired by what is now Ian Macleod Distillers in 1996.
