Maker's Mark Private Select / Maison Corbeaux
A popular small batch bourbon, produced at the Maker's Mark distillery in Loretto, Kentucky. Maker's Mark is a wheated bourbon, first introduced in 1953 by "Bill" Samuels Snr, produced with the assistance on none other than a certain Julian 'Pappy' Van Winkle.
The oak staves used for the final period of maturation were selected by Sansibar Whisky and comprised 2 "baked American pure," 1 "seared French cuvee," 2 x Maker's 46, 2 "roasted French mocha" and 3 "toasted French spice."
