Released in 2006, this was the third edition in the 3D range. Dedicated to Norrie Campbell, the last tradition peat cutter to work on the Islay bogs who sadly passed away in the same year.
Similar to the previous releases in this range this is a combination of three different peating levels from Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte and Octomore, making it even peatier than the previous releases.
A single malt distillery on the isle of Islay, currently part of the whisky holdings of French company, Rémy Cointreau. The distillery's flagship brand of single malt is a non-peated style, however it also produces peated variants called Port Charlotte and Octomore, as well as The Botanist gin.
