The official brand name for the single malt produced at the Pulteney distillery. The modern iteration was launched in 1997, however Gordon & MacPhail had bottled the brand under license since the 1960s. As such, they are the only other company permitted to use the Old Pulteney name.
Distillery Bottling is a term used to define a whisky bottled by the company that produced it, using the official branding of the distillery itself. This is also known as an "official bottling" or sometimes shortened to OB.
