A Highland malt whisky distillery, built in 1817 and the first in Scotland to be granted a Royal Warrant at the behest of King William IV in 1835. It is today part of the Bacardi Limited Scotch whisky holdings via John Dewar & Sons and its brand marketed as part of the Last Great Malts collection.
