Elmer T. Lee is a brand of single barrel Kentucky bourbon named after the late George T. Stagg master distiller who pioneered single barrel bourbon through the introduction of the Blanton's label in 1984. Like Blanton's, the brand is part of the portfolio of Age International, the US-based whiskey division of Japanese multinational, Takara Shuzo. The whiskey is distilled under contract by Buffalo Trace using the higher-rye mash bill (known as #2), and the company also owns the distribution rights for the brand in the US.
The proprietary release is the standard single barrel offering, however various commemorative limited editions have been bottled over the years. In the US, Elmer T. Lee is also occasionally available as part of the Sazerac Company's Single Barrel Select programme.
