Hibiki is a blend of over ten malts and grain whiskies, produced by Suntory Whisky and first introduced in 1989. The recipe features whisky from Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita, all aged in five types of cask.

Since the discontinuation of its classic 12- and 17-year-old age statements in 2015, the core range has comprised the non-age statement Japanese Harmony and a 21- and 30-year-old.

Hibiki 17 Year Old Shiki Kacho Edition

Shiki Kacho was the first ever limited edition Hibiki 17 year old. It predates both the sought-after Phoenix and Egret editions, and is the rarest of the three.

The Arita and Kutani ceramic decanters were an annual limited 21 year old release from Suntory, bottled between 2001 and 2014. Arita and Kutani are the pre-eminent ceramic houses in Japan, both located on the island of Kyushu. Each year, both houses design a decanter each, and they are all hand-painted.

This limited-edition design was released in the Autumn of 2021 and celebrates the whiskies floral tasting notes.
