Discover and bid on old, rare and collectible whiskies in our online auctions each month.
Our May Auction is packed with extraordinary bottles that ignite curiosity, stir nostalgia and remind us why whisky collecting is so endlessly rewarding.
At the heart of the auction is a true piece of history: a Talisker 12 Year Old, bottled by The Distillers Agency in the 1930s–40s. Predating the Classic Malts era, this expression may well include spirit from Talisker’s original stills, lost to a fire in the 1960s. It's a remarkable opportunity for Talisker enthusiasts and collectors.
The American whiskey selection is equally compelling. A 1940 Old Overholt Straight Rye offers a rare glimpse into the whiskey landscape of pre-war America, while a run of vintage Blanton’s single barrels from 1991–1998 offer great appeal for bourbon enthusiasts. We also welcome the celebrated Booker’s 10th Anniversary Edition, a rare find that seldom appears at auction.
Returning to Scotch, highlights include a 1959 vintage of The Macallan bottled by the historic wine and spirits merchants Berry Bros. & Rudd, alongside an outstanding collection from Gordon & MacPhail’s Rare Old series which includes long-closed distilleries like Banff, Brora, Convalmore, Glenlochy, and Littlemill. Our May auction also includes many Ben Nevis expressions from the distillery's legendary 1966 vintage.
And with Feis Ìle in full swing, Islay fans are in for a treat: a fantastic selection of Lagavulin Distillers Editions, a 1975 single cask Ardbeg bottled for the 2005 festival and a range of characterful Laphroaig Cairdeas releases round out a celebration of the island’s smoky spirit.
From pre-war rye and independent icons to festival favourites and forgotten distilleries, this auction captures the full breadth and beauty of whisky at its best.
