A former malt distillery and one of several defunct names within the Diageo portfolio. It was originally opened as Brechin in 1820 before being renamed later that century. It was shut down by Distillers Company in 1983 and only ever officially bottled a handful of times.
A historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by United Distillers and then Diageo between 1995 and 2005. As with the Flora & Fauna series, they were often from lesser-seen single malt distilleries.
Distillery Bottling is a term used to define a whisky bottled by the company that produced it, using the official branding of the distillery itself. This is also known as an "official bottling" or sometimes shortened to OB.
