Auchroisk is a malt distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland and one of many in the extensive portfolio of multinational drinks giant, Diageo.

The distillery was built in 1972 by International Distillers & Vintners (IDV) and assigned to its Justerini & Brooks subsidiary to assist with the provision of its flagship J&B blend. This remains its primary brief today, although over the years it has also had single malt presence in the market in various guises.

The first single malt brand marketed for Auchroisk distillery was The Singleton of Auchroisk, devised by IDV in 1986. It was produced continually until their merger with United Distillers to create Diageo, and the distillery was folded into the uniform Flora & Fauna range in 2001. The Singleton was later revived as a banner brand for Glen Ord, Glendullan and Dufftown.

It was not until 2010 that Diageo revived a unique single malt brand for the distillery when it included it in its annual Special Releases for that year. In has made several appearances in subsequent Special Release offerings since, and is also available from the company's private casks programme, Casks of Distinction.
